Pastor Tom Rea

Tom Rea is the Lead Pastor at Connection Point and has been serving in full-time ministry since 1991. As a lifelong member of the Church of God—and a proud P.K. (Preacher’s Kid)—Tom grew up watching his parents, Pastor Edwin and Juanita Rea, faithfully lead and love people, which shaped his own heart for ministry.

Over the years, Tom has worn many hats: pastor, worship leader, recording artist, songwriter, producer, and teacher. He previously served as the Director of The Worship Arts Institute, a licensed and accredited school dedicated to equipping worship leaders with a passion and calling from God.

In addition to ministry, Tom is also a Realtor with The Linda Rea Team of Real Estate One and a certified speaker, coach, and trainer with Maxwell Leadership. Whether he’s leading worship, teaching, or helping someone find their dream home, Tom’s mission is the same—to help people connect with purpose.

Tom has been married to his childhood sweetheart, Jeana, since 1991. Together, they’ve been ministering side by side for more than three decades and are blessed with three adult children—Ricky (and his wife Jen), Justin, and Ashton-Leah. The Reas came to serve in Coloma in July of 2025, and make their home in Watervliet, Michigan, where faith, family, and community remain at the heart of everything they do.

When he’s not preaching or singing, Tom loves traveling abroad with his wife, creating new music and collecting all things Pepsi. His favorite food is steak, and his favorite drink—no surprise—is Pepsi. Rounding out the Rea family is their little doggie, Jingle Bella, who keeps life fun and full of joy.
